To reduce the trauma and stress that affects pediatric patients and their families during treatment by providing emotional support through comfortable and learning rich environments
Who We Are
Founded in 2013 by James Cory, the mission was and always will be to help kids feel just a little bit more at home as they receive the care they need. The amount of stress that these children and their families endure during what may be considered the most trying times of their lives, can leave not just a lasting impact on those affected, but may even influence the success of their care as well. Operating across the state of Iowa, we believe in bringing care to wherever it is most needed.
What We Believe
At any time during our lives, illness can happen. It will be uncaring in who it affects; young or old, rich or poor, and so on, but that does not mean that you or anyone else should not receive the care needed to live a better life.
It is our fundamental belief that every child deserves the best care environment possible, no matter where they may be. Whether it's a nationally ranked child healthcare program or a rural county health center, people receive extended care on all levels and we want to be there for them everywhere we can.
Our Motivation
We hold our beliefs and our mission dear because we see service as our responsibility.

It's easy to look around and see the problems around us as not our own. However, when we see issues that are beyond anyone's control affecting those around us, in that moment, our lives become not just ours. We live for them as much as ourselves because what ails them is not their fault, but a result of the human condition; something we are all subject to.

So we serve. We serve because we are able and we are human and that is all the reason we need. And hopefully, you are able to help us on our way.
