The Care for Children Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
How do we use the funds provided in donations?
100% of the donations received here are used to purchase goods relating to the psychological and mental well-being of the pediatrics patients we work with. Often times, the determination for what these items consist of depends on the healthcare professionals we happen to be working with at each site we visit. Some pediatric units are in need of basic items like art supplies or DVDs to distract their patients during care, while others require more expensive and care related items like specialized therapeutic equipment for behavioral care units or mamaRoo infant seats for NICU.
We believe in developing care quality for children both in and out of major children hospital networks because even though many patients must travel to large institutions for specialized care, almost every patient and family member wishes that they could be back home. To that end, we try to ensure that no matter where they may be, every patient has the care they deserve.
